What is The Yew Tree Christmas Experience?

The Yew Tree Christmas Experience is a magical countryside escape designed for those who want to enjoy all the wonder of Christmas without the stress and endless preparations that often come with it.

Whether you're gathering family, escaping with friends, celebrating an engagement, planning an early festive getaway or simply wanting to experience Christmas somewhere truly special, our Christmas Experience provides the perfect opportunity to slow down, reconnect and make cherished memories together.

Imagine arriving at Yew Tree Cottage to discover every room beautifully decorated for Christmas. Twinkling lights fill the cottage, stockings hang above the roaring fire, the Christmas tree sparkles with ornaments and festive music softly welcomes you inside.

Open the fridge to find your favourite drinks already chilled, cupboards stocked with your chosen treats, festive hampers waiting to be enjoyed and thoughtful touches placed throughout the cottage. Whether it's mince pies by the fire, hot chocolate beneath fairy lights, Christmas films in matching pyjamas or a fully prepared Christmas feast ready for your arrival, every detail has been lovingly arranged just for you.

Why is it so special?

Christmas should be magical, but it can often become overwhelming.

Shopping.

Wrapping.

Decorating.

Planning meals.

Hosting.

Trying to think of everyone else.

The Yew Tree Christmas Experience offers permission to leave the stress behind and simply enjoy the season.

No supermarket trips.

No untangling lights.

No carrying decorations from the loft.

No meal planning.

No last-minute panic.

Simply arrive, unpack your bags and immerse yourself in a Christmas experience designed to leave you feeling relaxed, festive and connected to the people who matter most.

Every Christmas is different because every family celebrates differently.

What do we need from you?

To create your perfect Christmas experience, we'll send you a short Christmas questionnaire before your arrival.

We'll ask about your group, favourite festive foods and drinks, dietary requirements, preferred decorations, family traditions, favourite Christmas films, games and any special surprises you'd like us to arrange.

Whether you're dreaming of a cosy traditional Christmas, a luxurious winter escape or a fun-filled festive gathering with friends, we'll thoughtfully curate an experience designed around you.

Let's create something unforgettable

Once we receive your preferences, we'll work together to design a Christmas experience tailored to your family, your traditions and your budget.

No two Christmas Experiences will ever be the same.

Wonderfully festive.

Beautifully nostalgic.

Thoughtfully prepared.
